Southern Cali Sunrise
1 cup kale
2 teaspoon turmeric
2 Tablespoon bee pollen (you can also use another sweetener like stevia, honey, maple syrup or agave)
1 cup kombucha (any flavor)
2 Tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds
pulp from 1-3 leaves of aloe vera
Juice of one lemon
Combine everything in the blender and enjoy!
If your blender or processor isn't strong enough to blend the kale, you can use a softer green like spinach.
Aloe Vera Cutting Instructions:
This wasn't the best example because it wasn't quite ripe. The softer and plumper it is, the tastier and easier it will be to cut. As you can see in the picture, the flesh is still a little white. It is best when it is clear. However, when you put it in a smoothie you can't taste it at all so it doesn't matter if it is a little under ripe.
