My sister, the goddess of grapes...
3 cups fresh grape juice (I just put tons of grapes through a juicer. You can also blend them and poor through a strainer.)
4 Tablespoons rum (or more or less depending on your mood)
I put the grape juice in my ice cream maker for 15 minutes, added the rum, and let it run another 5 minutes.
I know there are much more sophisticated ways to make a proper grape sorbet. You could probably add a more appropriate alcohol that will compliment the flavor and maybe something fancy like fresh mint or basil and lemon. However, I was so exhausted from harvesting thousands of grapes that this was just the simplest thing to do! haha...it was SO easy and was definitely delicious. I added a little more rum on top because I never like things too sweet (plus sometimes you just need that little extra bit after a hard day of work). It was very sweet and I think it would be great with a butter cookie or some simple dessert to cut it.
